Wayne turns 3! So i took the earliest ferry back to run errands for my darling's party. The theme for this year's party is Cars, Wayne's current favourite. Again, we have to fit the theme. We had specially designed shirts for Wayne's First mickey mouse themed party and this time, we have tags. Of course again, yiyi's idea and xiao yi's work. We are 最佳拍档!

The reason why i had to rush back is to run my first errand of collecting the balloons. Had the entire car filled with balloons! Rear and side mirror blocked.Challenging.

12-13 Nov, Batam for Jy's Hen's. First overseas trip with this group of girlies! Sweetie jy sponsored all the jiemeis for this trip. Eat, shop, massage and HTHT. Totally awesome. Playing games and chatting over beer and choya with sweet girlies whom have known each other for 13 years is absolutely priceless. We have all indeed grown up and have changed alot over the years, of course for the better. But some things just don't change.. such as... *coughs* our 默契. Better to leave some things unsaid. Really enjoyed this trip alot. It's also my first time going back from a foreign land alone. Had to take the earliest ferry at 6am back for my darling's birthday party. Yes quite exciting and shag.

Another item off my wishlist!! Been wanting to do this for the longest time but it's no action talk only. Plus the fact that I've been on constant painkillers so I put this off for so long. Plus I saw swee's pic on how big the needle is! Ok maybe that's the real reason, I'm a scardy cat. So anyway, i was on the way to get lunch where I saw them handling out the tissue paper for this blood donation drive. This guy approached me and told me about it and got me excited. But I was afraid to do this alone so I got my ever so brave little sis to join me. She is really wonderful I tell you. She skipped her lesson, drove down all the way from NTU, and the fact that she's been rejected 3 times before but she still came. So there, WE FINALLY DID IT!!

I was so afraid while waiting for my turn to take the test cos some idiot told me this is more painful than the real thing! But, IT WAS JUST A PRICK LA! Scare me for nothing. But he's not wrong! Cos the real thing doesn't hurt at all! Totally no feeling so rightfully the test is more painful la. I'm so impressed can! Such a big needle went in without any feeling at all! I remembered telling the nurse, 'Amazing' after she told me to look away. Halfway through, the guy lying beside me went into fits!!! I tell you!! THIS IS DAMN SCARY LA!!! I swear i went all cold. The nurses all rushed over, pull out the needle, put his legs up. Wah piang commotion. That's probably the only scary thing, even needle go in also not so scary.

Totally unplanned trip. Totally impromptu. Started when I casually mentioned i had 2 days leave on 29Sep and 30Sep and that makes a long weekend. Forgotten who came up with the idea of going somewhere, the next thing i remembered was me checking up on flights. Macau? Hong Kong? Taiwan? Ended up with booking a flight to Vietnam just less than 2 weeks before. First time going on such impromptu trips. Good in a way don't have to wait so long. But very insecure feeling cos very much unplanned.

Our first time on Tiger Airways. Comtemplated for awhile considering all the bad reviews esp on delaying and cancelling flights. But it was all pleasant for us! To and fro were both ahead of schedule. Landing and taking off was good. Nothing to complain about.

Our first meal in Vietnam. Reached around 10am and couldn't check in to the hotel so we found ourselves in this Vietnam restaurant just opp our hotel. Vietnam cuisine was ok. Didn't like the spring onions and parsley they put generously in their food though.

Our hotel. Very bad experience. Unfriendly staff. Poor wifi. That reminds me i've yet to submit my review on the hotel at agoda. Sure to give very negative comments.

Met a few singaporeans on the street. Spotted from their accent. So dad made friends (as usual) with them and they very nicely brought us around and introduced us to what we can buy and eat. So they introduced this dessert stall. Come to think of it, we were really quite brave to try coconut based dessserts the first thing we reached vietnam, on our first day. Lao Sai is really no joke.

Tried the chendol, bobo chacha and a banana dessert. Really really good!

Checking out the area. As you can see my TRA is totally disrupted from all the 边走边吃。

MASSAGE! How can we miss this?!?! Although it's abit too early but who cares?! Totally worth it!

Back to Ben Thanh Market for more 'shopping'.

Found our way to this Independence Palace. One of the attractions in Vietnam. But seriously, nothing much in here. Just a palace lor. All their dining area, slping area, meeting area, cinema, entertainment area.

Ngon restaurant, recommended by the tour agency. So-so only actually. They have weird system there. We dunno where to order and wondered if we really ordered because they look like they don't understand us after waiting for awhile.

Daily hotel breakfast. Quite decent. Fulfilled my TRA intake of carb, protein and veg.

1 day tour starts! Waiting by the roadside for our tour bus.

Stopover at Handicapped Handicrafts where all their handworks are done by handicapped people. Impressive.

Going to some island. Forgotten the name. Journey of ferry change small boat change sampan then change back small boat then change ferry.

Made honey lime for us to try and the liquid in black is banana whiskey.

Move on to bigger boat.

To have our lunch! Lunch was provided in the tour package but it was really 寒酸. But at least it had all my carb, protein and veg. Don't start judging cos it really taste not bad! Can't tell right? We were taught never judge a book by its cover!

Proceed on to coconut candy factory where they produce coconut candy.

Back to the boat to second part of our tour!

Water puppet show. Another attraction in Vietnam. Quite interesting but didn't understand a single thing cos entire show was in Vietnam language.

Dinner was on board this cruise. We were arguing if they do sail off. Mum was 100% sure they are stationary. Me and mei thinks they are mobile because it reads on the board outside their set off timings. We finished our dinner and there are no signs of them cruising off so we were decided if we should get down and head back to hotel to rest. Thankfully we didn't cos soon after the caption sounded the typical ship setting off horn and announced that we are setting off! This is exciting cos it wasn't in our expectations. There was entertainment on board. Sang and make merry. Oh and there was an eye candy from korea on board! He's really quite charming and he sings quite well! Awwww..

Our nightly activity. This hotel has complimentary wifi but just for our room it's available at our doorstep. That explains why we can only camp at the door for our wifi. I told you this hotel is lousy already. I was totally in awe when the staff told me, 'yes window don't have, only here have.' -_-

Another day tour that we signed up. Cuchi tunnel. If you know about the vietnam-USA war, you will know this. So it's a tunnel the vietnamese dug against the american during their 17 yrs war.

This is the entrance of the tunnel. Because vietnamese are all so small size, they build this tunnel so small that americans cannot enter. This hole has already been modified to cater to tourist. Actualy hole is even smaller.

Vicious traps the vietnamese created.

They treated us to tapioca after making us crawl through the long and small tunnel which left dad with severe muscleaches the next day. It's really no joke.

Resting while the rest went for live firing.

That's the end of our half day tour. Next stop was the War remnants museum. But dinner first at this restaurant next to the museum.

Food of the entire trip gotta be the salted fish fried rice (bottom left)!

Our last night in Vietnam. Finally got to try Pho (Vietnamese noodle).

Not forgetting the sticky rice that we've been wanting to try but didn't have enough stomach space.

A good impromptu trip. Anyway which trip overseas isn't good? As long as it's outta singapore it's good. Bye Vietnam. Finally realised my wish to visit vietnam. Probably will not visit again in near future. This is one of those, visit once is enough countries. Vietnam is very similar to Thailand but i prefer Thailand anytime.

That marks the end of our 4D3N vietnam trip!

Celebrated daddy's birthday at Tables by the bay @Keppel Club where 2 of my cousins are chefs there. So cousin sweetly agreed to whip up something special for the birthday boy, a 5-course dinner not on their menu, his own creation. I think that made daddy really happy. Afterall, his own nephew cooking specially for him. Nice.

6月27日2011年 - 奶奶离开了我们。爷爷牵着她的手，到了极乐世界去。虽然已知道她终于能与爷爷相聚，会很快乐的，但心中始终会有一些舍不得。过了一个很不可思议的星期，一直处在仿佛是一个梦境的状态，到现在还是不相信。11年前，爷爷离开我们时，我有这同样很不真实的感觉。真没想到事隔11年我还会有同样的感觉。很庆幸曾和奶奶相处过，至少跟奶奶的回忆不是空白的。望着灵堂照，看着冷冰冰躺在哪儿的奶奶，有好多好多的感触，很舍不得。。。

亲爱的奶奶，

很遗憾没来得及和您说声最后的再见，很难过。我知道您现在是快乐的跟随着爷爷。你永远会住在我们心中。希望你永远快乐，也在天上保佑爸爸妈妈身体健康，大家都平平安安，快快乐乐。虽然再也听不到你叫我花木兰，但是我会永远当你心目中的花木兰，永远孝顺爸妈。最后想对你说声，我爱你。

So it's been almost 10 days since my birthday. Haven really had time to sit down and pen this wonderful event. Also taking the time to recover from the late nights and repaying my heavy sleep debt. I should start penning before I start forgotting things and dunno what to write. So on the 16th June (bday eve), celebration of a 10 yrs virtual relationship with a friend of 17 yrs. A really eventful day thoughtfully planned by my 10 yrs ago 'Shifu'. Deeply appreciated. The best birthday I've ever had in 26 years.

16th June. He came to pick me up at 230pm and handed me a card indicating part 1/2 and in it was a username and password. Got me puzzled but he told me not to bother about that first. So we started our first programme of the day, video games at St. Games at Cathay. Similar to boardgame cafes except that it's video games. It was alot of fun. We did some quite stupid rabbid games, music, sports/dance and the best gotta be the music portion which we spent the least time on. Wasted.

Next up, dinner at Level 33 at MBFC. Nice place nice ambience not too bad food.

And then after dinner was, LION KING!! I've always wanted to catch that! Oh my he can read me like a book!! And and and!!! LION KING IS REALLLLLY GOOOOOD!! Must watch! The props and the songs, oh so good! Double thumbs up! =)

Wondering what's coming up next after Lion King as it's nearing my birthday. Absolutely no idea what's gonna happen. I didn't think it will be sending me home, at least there will be a Happy Birthday when the clock strikes 12 right? Of course it was to be a surprise so he was very secretive about it. And after much probing and with a little of my intelligence, tadah! Henderson Waves! So he brought me along the bridge and at the second wave, there he prepared those words with candles and his macbook playing the happy birthday song in mandarin and english. That's not all. I was given a part 2/2 card and this one contained an URL, www.jasmineliu.com. So now both cards fall nicely in place. Yes he bought the domain for me and did the best website and video I've ever seen. That got me in tears as I clicked through the website and watched the video. Very thoughtfully done especially for me. The amount of effort put in is just beyond words can describe. I was greatly touched, deeply. I can never express my gratitude enough for this long time friend. For always being there, rain or shine. I know this sounds cliche and as though writing autograph book, I hope our friendship can remain. Deepest thanks, my friend.

17 June. As we have decided that going forward all our birthdays will be celebrated at home with a themed party, so this year for my birthday, it's a Piglet-themed party! Everyone to come dressed like a piglet so typically just pink and striped. Dear mummy prepared this whole table of food singlehandedly as usual.

After dinner was games time! Mei and I had initially planned to go to minds cafe as I've never been to a boardgame cafe and has been bugging her for the longest time to bring me to one. But we abandoned the idea eventually and decided to do a minds cafe at home with everyone! It was so much laughter and fun. First game was twister. Good game.

Wayne made new friends with 3 uncles. These 3 pigs, apparently a surprise mei prepared for me. Really got a surprise when they turned up at my place when we were having dinner. Earlier on mei was telling me that she ordered piglets online and hope the shipping will reach before 12. Got me puzzled and she said the piglets she ordered can't be found anywhere. Then I didn't suspect much. So it's them. Good job mei! Totally collaborated with my whole family. Usually smart me actually didn't sense anything amiss except that I thought mum cooked too much for 6 person.But since she tends to overprepare on occasions, I didn't smell anything fishy. So there, a surprise well done! So they entertained Wayne and vice versa. They played Bingo with him and it was totally hilarious!

My greatest loves. Thank you for giving me this family for 26 years and many more wonderful years to come.

Flowers and balloons I received this year. All of which I didnt get to receive them personally. First bouquet was sent to my office on the eve of my birthday. Delivery man called me and told me there was a firedrill at my office. I was on leave so i had my colleague to help me receive it. On the day itself, same delivery man called me and asked if i'm on leave again. So yeah I had to trouble my colleague again. But she said the concierge had already recognised her as my friend from the day before so when she went for lunch they actually stopped her and tell her to bring it up on my behalf. I kinda made a small name for myself in ML. And immediately after the call from the delivery man, i got another call from another florist who was already at my place but I've just left. So there, 3rd one that I didn't get to receive personally. Very surprised indeed and it felt really good. =)

Happy box from Jen Yang. Very thoughtful. In it contains a handmade birthday card which i thought was rather impressive, a princess jasmine figurine, a scented fresherner jasmine flavoured, 2 CDs and a massage card.

I had the most memorable birthday this year. So overwhelming, so full of surprises one after another. I was indeed treated like a princess. Ever so loved and protected by many. First surprise: On my car windscreen early in the morning. Initially thought it was just another pamphlet until i saw, '早安你好！’An invitation to a special event on 16June11. =)

Second surprise: Came in the letterbox. Eggs card.

Third surprise: Came at my doorstep early in the morning. Smiley cow keychain, happy penholder and princess card.

And so after 5 yrs of procrastination, I finally got this done. Went for a makeover photoshoot today! Was quite a challenge I must say for someone who doesn't know how to pose. Have always been a stand straight straight take picture kind of person.

First style, supposedly bohemian. The set I like most. Loves the big curls!

Second style, cool. This apparently was quite a disaster. I just cannot not smile infront of a camera. Although i have the natural black face, I can't do this well still. So it appears i was trying to smile aka um chio in some pics. Disaster la! I don't like!

Last style, I have no idea what's that actually. Cute? Seriously I don't know. Anyway, mum says it's the worst of the lot while swee wei says otherwise. Very extreme feedbacks i get. Good choice of colour for the top I felt as it made the entire feel vibrant.

So that's 1 thing off my once in a lifetime must do list. Next up, blood donation!

This is how my thumb has become the next day after jab (left) and 2 days after (right). Conclusion, actually no need to see doctor wad. Didn't apply the medicine nor washed with the solution doctor gave and it got better on its own. But now my poor arm is all sore because of the jab. -_-" 对不起连累了你！

A small harmless looking cut on Saturday costs $96, comes with a tetanus jab, cleaning solution, cream and strong antibiotics. Discovered this cut on my thumb while on the ride at USS last Saturday. As usual, it's too small an issue for me to pay attention to. But I felt it wasn't a normal cut. It was painful from inside and all around the wound. It doesn't hurt when run under water or even when mum applied 青草油. But when the cotton bud touched the thumb it hurts. Initially there was no bleeding. And then I saw that the wound is healing yet still very painful. Was a little black inside so I thought there might be a bloodclot inside. So I pry open the wound attempting to squeeze the blood out. Instead, white sticky pus came out! Damn gross looking. So there, for fear of dying, I finally went to the doctor. The first time i see a doctor for such a small problem. Abit embarrassing.

Just checked out from a 3D2N stay at Festive Hotel, RWS. Dajie sweetly and thoughtfully booked the hotel for us to spend the weekend and celebrate Mummy's day! All of them except me checked in on Friday at 1pm while I can only join them after work at 4pm. Took the boardwalk for the first time and walked 525m into sentosa. Thankfully in flats, but with my barang barang and the super hot weather, not very fun.

Our 467 room. Pleasant surprise with an upper deck bed which was so cosy for me and mei for 2 nights, slept and watched the elections from up there. Really love that but dangerous for our little prince who keeps climbing up and down. Cosy enough for all 7 of us. Nicely decorated room. Shiok shower. Overall experience very good. =)

The surprise our little prince made for his beloved Grandma. Dajie said he wrote all the letters 'I LOVE U' all by himself without any assistance. Good job Wayne!

All ready to go for a swim!! Look at how happy our 小飞鱼 is. His eyes sparkles when he touches water.

The swim team! Not really a swim, more of play water instead. But water is very dirty, quite gross. Nevertheless, we had fun! Esp for Wayne.

Dinner at Singapore Seafood Republic by Tunglok group, Jumbo etc. Food is good.

The balloon incident. The restaurant gave Wayne a balloon which caused a little episode. He accidentally released the balloon up into the air. Upon seeing the balloon fly further and further away into the sky, his face changed immediately and starting crying his lungs out upon realising that he's going to lose the balloon forever. Words cannot describe his expression then. It's like, he was happily playing and watching it (left pic). At first he didn't know what happened, just watching on innocently. Then he slowly realised as it flies away and he didn't know that it will fly away just like that. Scared? Feeling of losing? That is the exact feeling I get. Similar to dropping something into the deep sea. Doesn't feel very good. Even after 2 days as I'm typing away now, each time I recall that incident, I still feel affected. I saw the entire episode hence his expression while watching it fly away and cries are still very vivid. Although he recovered quite fast after we got him another one but that affected me till now. After that, he held on to his balloon so tightly for fear of losing it again. At the end of the day, it's a lesson learnt for him.

Caught the Crane Dance which we thought was really impressive. Shows everyday except Tues at 9pm. Worth watching.

Day 2, elections day. Something quite anti-climax. So all of us had to come out from RWS to our respective stations just to cast our votes before heading back to USS. Had breakfast at Yong He first. Coincidentally, we were dressed in our respective decisions, PAP vs Opposition.

All of us in the car off to our stations. My very first time. Quite exciting.

After casting our votes, we rushed back to conquer USS. Thankfully we didn't waste too much time because of the voting. Family pictures before we went separate ways. Me and mei were determined to conquer all the rides while the rest of them can only conquer the shows having young and old.

Wayne loves the woodpecker. Went to hug it and wanted to take a picture. Come to think of it we were too engrossed in conquering the rides that we forgot to take pictures with the characters.

Our biggest achievement, the famous Battlestar. Deserves a whole collage coverage. First ride we took and after this, all the other rides were just, small case. Took both the red and the blue and agreed that the blue is more challenging while Dajie and BIL thinks it's the red. Equally challenging actually but shiok.

All the other rides and shows we went for. 4D, Monster Rock, Revenge of the Mummy, Waterworld, Canopy Flyer, and some kiddy rollercoaster which i underestimated, and some misc. Nice.

Our 'lunch' and 'teabreak'. The calamansi slush got to be the best and saved me greatly from potential heatstroke.

Dinner at Bait, Din Tai Feng. Yummy. Loves Xiao Long Bao.

Day 3, Mother's Day. Little prince playing around the room in the morning. Presenting presents to Grandma and flower to his mummy.

Breakfast at Fiesta restaurant. Quite good. Salmon!!

Checking out and presenting flower and card. Wayne checking out every corner of the lobby while his mummy went to settle the check out. Running all over the place and having so much fun. Look at how he obediently holds the flower and card as instructed by his dad and went to look for his mummy. Took a video on that. Really ultra cute.

So that's our splendid weekend! Second happening weekend consecutive. Hoping for more to come!!

Impromptu genting-sunway trip to spend the long weekend. Loves impromptu trips. So the same gang, mummy, san yi, meimei and me. Always enjoy long bus journey but this time, the journey there wasn't very pleasant. That reminds me I've not written in to ~~complain~~ feedback. They attempted to freeze us to death before we even reach genting. If you can see from the pic how fogged the glass window is. Even mummy and san yi who are never afraid of cold, for once, shivered the entire journey and had to get off the coach to 'thaw' a couple of times. Needless to say for me and sis who very bravely went in shorts. -_-" Mummy gave me her jacket while she endured the cold but still i felt like i wasn't wearing anything, still shivering throughout! Went to the coach driver to request to turn up the temperature but both times he told me it's the highest already at 41deg. What nonsense lor! When we finally reached, genting was even warmer than in the coach! -_-" That resulted in sleepless night for the 4 of us.

Our first meal upon reaching at 7am. KFC vs McDonalds breakfast. Mummy and Sanyi prefers the conventional Mac big breakfast while me and mei decided to take the KFC twister and some cheese burger which was really good.

My love! Daily Fresh waffle with peanut butter and chocolate! It's a must have. A pity the one in Simei closed down. =(

The misc we ate there. I can only remember there's endless eating throughout the trip. My mouth works every 2 hours. Tell me about my dieting plans! Cappuccino popcorn which is so-so, chestnut which is another must have, herbal egg which is superb and gai zai beng which is quite good.

Headed to the casino before we settled lunch. Mei turned 21 this year so that was her virgin entry into the casino (minus the other time we got thrown out when we tried to smuggle her in when she was 18). But the happy thing wasn't she being able to enter, it's.. THEY CHECKED MY PASSPORT! =) Phew, was so afraid they wouldn't. Haha very cheap thrill indeed. Helped mummy pressed some button when she got bored with the jackpot and won RM15. Just 2 free waffles but better than nothing. Decided on Vietnam cuisine for lunch. Not too bad.

After lunch was R&R. The aunties went back to the hotel to rest and then headed back to the casino while me and mei went to check out on what we can do. Decided to try something different this time so that we can have different pictures on genting. Haha. Wanted to go for some foot reflexology initially but it was RM88 /pax for an hour which we decided against. And so we ended up in Kbox! Our all time favourite. Quite a nice experience except that there's no soundproof and we lost to the ahmads next door blasting their melayu song.

We had 15 more mins left to meeting the aunties for dinner after K. And to fully utilise that, we

attempted fish spa! It's my first time as well as my last time. Can't really stand the feeling of having a living creature touching me. The feeling is just not pleasant. It's very ticklish but more of feeling gross.

Dinner at this random eating place. Had their special noodle and wonton soup.

After dinner was R&R again. Not wanting to feel too lardy, we decided to work some lard out! Basketball!! Lost count of how many rounds we played. Towards the end mei couldn't lift up her arm to shoot. Tsktsk! Despite that, we broke a new record of 507!

Exchanged for a QiZai and a pen with the tickets we won. Quite satisfying and that ends our night.

Rise and shine day 2. Shanghai Tim Sum for breakfast but not fantastic.

Followed by starbucks coffee before we check out and head to Sunway.

Reached Sunway after a 2+hrs bus journey. A&W for lunch. Curly fries are still one of the best! Found Gongcha equivalent. Really looks and taste so much like Gongcha.

And it's shopping all the way. Nothing there but shopping. Didn't get much stuff though. Dinner was good. Then back to more shopping before we called it a day.

Last day of the trip. The long awaited hotel buffet breakfast. Still as good.

More food before we leave. KrispyKreme and Auntie Anne's which sis die die must have.

So that marks the end of our impromptu short getaway. Next up, Perth? Hopefully there are somemore surprise trips before our Perth trip in Aug!

A typical Sunday family breakfast at Mac. Usual and frequent affair. Our little prince has Shichida class on Sunday mornings at Tanjong Pagar. So there, breakfast at Tanjong Pagar Mac. After which was the usual excursion, half day Singapore tour. This time to Hortpark and Henderson Waves. Since it's last min, so we were unprepared. No rubberbands for me and mei and heels for mummy to climb hills and cross bridge!

So we conquered 2.4km from Hortpark to Henderson Waves. Daddy walked a short distance before deciding to go back to get the car and wait for us at Henderson Waves instead. All the walking soon got wasted with the tim sum lunch. POUT!

A 'project' we did over the weekend. Actually just on Saturday. 950 pieces baby disney jigsaw puzzle for our little prince. Doing puzzle really gives the sense of accomplishment. The moment you find the right piece esp after searching for so long, the feeling is just so.... whoosh!!

Life is just like fixing a piece of jigsaw puzzle, need to look for the right match. Right career, right friends, right partner. Not easy but when found paints a perfect and complete picture.

4月19日 - 重生

今天有种重生的感觉。跟一位同事聊完后，一直闷在心里的感觉慢慢地消失，突然有好多好多领悟，开始找回了自己，心情顿时间变得好好哦。原本好像有千言万语，谁知正开始要写时却不知从何说起。我想这一年来我们都经历了不少也因此学到了很多。喜怒哀乐不断，但其中的怒与哀实在是没必要。这一年的泪水多过于三年来所累积的。这些泪水也逐渐的化为负离子在脑海和心里盘旋着，弄得大家都很不健康。这段日子里，我所得到的快乐真的不少，曾让我觉得我真的很幸福也很幸运。但同时，也给了我觉得自己是最差的的想法。因为你一而再再而三地说我有多么的不好。用在我身上的形容词也很恶劣。其实，我并非你所说的那样也不曾有人这样说过我。谁会甘愿一直被冤枉却没有办法为自己辩护，弄得哑口无言，只好往肚子里吞？今天以后我明白了其实错根本不完全在我。既然也有人和我有着共同对你的看法，就证明了你应该是时候反省了。是时候改掉你那烂脾气-没有人是应该接受你那一不高兴就掉头走掉留对方一人在哪或对对方破口骂脏话的，或是在对方迟赴约后给脸色看并且说给对方脸色看是应该的。离谱的是，你那么做的对象/对方是女朋友。是应该这样对女朋友的吗？是时候改掉你那自以为自己是最棒的-事实上，你根本就不是。你也有好多事是你不知道也不会的，所以哪来的资格说别人笨，别人不行？为什么用那不耐烦的语气对待别人？笨并没有错，并不需要忍受你这种态度。不要一直认为自己说什么，做什么都是对的，是最好的。我知道这是你永远都不会接受的批评，但是这是所有人都认同的。当不只一个人那么认为时，真的是时候做自我反省了。我自认脾气不好，但你是一个最没资格教训我的人。一直以来都觉得是自己不对，感到很抱歉。但经过了今天，明白了你过去的恋情都有着同样的问题。那瞬间，我突然觉得好欣慰。和同事聊完后，更加的欣慰有人明白也有同样的看法。这是对我来说一个正面的推动力，让我知道并不是我的问题，肯定了自己是个怎样的人。当然，我的缺点会是为值得的人改，为懂得珍惜我的人而改。虽然还有好多话想说，有一些这些日子以来所受的委屈，但是我想就让一切尽在不言中吧。我会将这一页就此结束，等待新的一页 - 从‘心’出发。

Picnic at Botanic Gardens. Been awhile since we had a picnic. Guess kids still enjoy it better. For me, it's just ok, don't really like the hot and sticky feeling though. Went for a short jog there too. I really need to exercise more.

We finally got together again after almost a year. I was reminded time and again why i preferred Citi to Merrill so much and i still do. Really missed working there but of course only with the same group of people. Those were the happiest time at work and i have never enjoyed work that much. I probably won't enjoy working even if I go back now with all the new faces. It's the companion, the fun, the joy we had together, the same old people. They made work so much more enjoyable for once.

*CPB GOC EU Derivatives. The best team I ever worked with/in. The best people. Really miss them alot. Everyone has moved on except for Li Chien, still loyal to Citi.

Chatting through long dinner and continuing over drinks at Mandarin hotel till late is really the best! I'm glad we still have lots to talk to each other.

Lately i've cultivated the habit of taking picture of my food and sharing or rather flooding people's handphone with them. These are the reason why I've become lardier. I am too well fed by my dearest mummy.

Mummy wakes up at 530am daily to prepare breakfast for us. Daily cut fruits for lunch. Variety includes- apple, orange, pear, papaya, watermelon, rockmelon, mango, dragonfruit, kiwi, strawberry, blueberry, grapes (green,black,red), persimmon, guava, cherry, plum, banana. My daily dinner.

Now you know why i'm fat.

3月31日2011年 - 一年后，我们又回到了一个熟悉的地方。虽然回到了一样的地方，但人却不同了。因此，令我有了一些感触。看着那些地方，很自然地想起了他，想起了同样的照片里曾有个他。短短的一年里，竟然有了那么多的改变。这些无法预料的改变让我明白了没有什么是永恒，是绝对的，所以不需强求任何事，也强求不来。那就随缘吧！这是我的领悟。

出发咯！这次又乘搭了胜安航空。一向对飞机餐很期待的我们，这次有点小失望。选择有，鸡蛋香肠（我爱的！）和炒黑菜头粿。但是因为我们坐在最后几排所以轮到我们时只剩下菜头粿。实在让我非常不满。哪里可以这样吗！*堵嘴*

四小时后，我们抵达了厦门高崎机场。吃的第一顿是肯德基。吃饱后乘计程车到火车站搭火车到莆田。火车站。姑姑安排了车在涵江站等我们。但买车票时，只有莆田站。很奇怪的，姑姑千交代万交代叫我们到涵江站，但全火车站的人都不知道有这个站。最后有惊无险的抵达了莆田站，车子也在那里等候着接我们到莆田涵江爷爷的家。

这火车还蛮出乎意料的。毕竟，对中国没有什么太高的期望。

终于到了莆田。这是大家的第一次。一年前来的时候是搭几小时的车直往莆田涵江爷爷的家。这次想尝试不同的。

到了爷爷的家。那非常熟悉的地方。一年前是11个人热热闹闹的回乡。这次，就我们四个人，是一个不错的体验。一样的，对叔公和叔婆的宽待感到很不好意思。毕竟是长辈还得让他们‘服侍’。叔婆煮了鸡蛋甜汤来招待我们。好另类的甜品。那味道。。我只能说，太特别了！超爱吃鸡蛋的我也第一次没那么爱了。看我的脸皱成一团。

晚餐。在酒店附近随便挑了一间小吃店来充饥。但这随便一挑还真是好棒！兴化卤面当然不可少，好吃的让爸爸停不了嘴，新加坡的真是不能比。不过让我们回味无穷的其实是那条烤鱼！超赞的！

酒店自助早餐。一人才RMB10！新币$2！食物还算合理。有心形糕点。=）

原本计划是住在爷爷家的。毕竟爷爷当年盖了这栋房子也是希望子子孙孙回乡时有地方住。但是居住环境始终欠佳。没有热水是一大nono。结果我们还是选择了住皇冠大酒店。一家没有收国际信用卡的饭店，我想我不用再多说了吧？

午餐。也是随便在酒店附近挑的。这回挑得不怎么样。不可能次次都那么幸运。不过蚝蛋却很不错！妈妈特点不在菜单上的。

爷爷的心血和骄傲。妈妈告诉我这栋房子在那里的人们眼中，是新加坡来的大财主建的。所以回去会不仅感到一些些风光。

仙宫堂。能算是家族寺庙吧？或之类的。

爷爷在中国住的家？从小到大的家？还是奶奶到中国第一次住的家？三选一吧？不太记得了。中国历史渊源真的很难搞得清楚。爹娘已解释了八百遍还是一头污水。这是花了RMB10，000 重修的。还挺不错的。收了钱，当上了暴发户的我们，直冲海鲜酒楼宠宠自己。哈哈。

酒店里有卡拉ok！我和妹妹见了眼前一亮，怎么可能会放过呢？这家卡拉ok实在很不错啊！我们本来想大概就只有内地歌手吧。什么孙南之类的。但是我们大错特错，跌破了眼镜。歌曲选择不但很新，科技也很先进，使用的是touchscreen来点歌。那么大的房间，8pm开始唱到2am四个人只需RMB198/新币不到$40包括茶和瓜子。中国所有的卡拉ok原来有个规定，会有一位‘公主’在包厢里伺候，而这位‘公主’的收费是RMB200。拜托！我的包厢收费才RMB198！我才不肯多付RMB200给这个‘公主’咯！我们又不是那些色伯伯需要‘特别’服务。重点是，那种货色也能称为公主？！真是不明白。最后，我在中国当了流氓。叫了经理来理论。说明了我绝对不会付公主费用也不需要公主。那个公主给了实在很不爽我的脸，我看应该没有人当着她的面说并不需要她的服务吧。结果，谈判成功！我们赢了！=）

退房了。在酒店大厅等车来送我们到厦门。

到了厦门放下了行李，没什么时间能浪费，就搭计程车到厦门东渡国际码头乘搭渡轮到金门（台湾）。在码头解决了午餐。预先品尝了台湾小吃。还不错。

到了金门。我们对这里一窍不通，一点头绪也没有。时间也很紧迫。所以决定包计程车带我们逛。在台湾非常流行。好像所有计程车夫都能承当导游，都很敬业。我们很幸运的碰到了一位有年纪的伯伯。他经历了战争，亲眼目睹了炮弹的威力，也大难不死逃过鬼门关两次。虽然当时的经历是恐怖，但是他述说时我们却大笑了起来。因为时间的关系，他只能带我们到几个景点，在车里绕，边绕边解释。那位石像就是高粱酒创办人。其他都是岛上的建筑。我们都很喜欢台湾。因为人们都非常友善和乐于助人。不像中国。

另一个景点。

参观炮台，军人住的地方，战争的历史。

很奇妙的坑道。

金门镇總兵署。不知道哪个朝，有地牢有十大酷刑。

金门街道。烧饼和蛋卷。好吃！

时间到要离开金门回厦门了。如果有多一点时间那会更完美。

在厦门的酒店。海景千禧大酒店。Millenium Harbourview Hotel Xiamen. 一间很不错的酒店。至少服务态度很有礼貌，会说会明白英语。不像乡下地方，好像都欠他们钱似的，很没有礼貌。我们始终是城市小孩。喜欢城市的喧哗，文明人，有修养的人，干净的街道。最重要的，宁静的道路。在乡下，每一辆车，不管大小，什么情况都好，就算是没事，也会按喇叭。一天到晚都这样，真的很烦。到了城市就三百六十度转变。按喇叭是违反条规的。很平静，很舒服，完全不一样。

傍晚试着走到离酒店不远的中山路步行街。是厦门最热闹的街。沿路在一间茶餐厅解决了晚餐。没有怎么样，服务态度也不行。

填饱肚子后继续上路。中山路步行街真是人山人海很热闹。

这一天我们找了旅行社办了一天厦门游。第一站，鼓浪屿。需要搭船过岛，像是到圣陶沙一样。

参观了钢琴博物院。很特别。也看到了岛上的医院。照片里的那辆是救伤车哦！天啊！还有岛上唯一一家四星级酒店。

岛上有很美的风景。很适合拍照。

两个小时完成了岛上的行程。

胡里山炮台。又是炮台。以前的人真是没事做。就只有打打打，制炮弹，攻攻攻。

一日游包括的午餐真是丰富。拍案叫绝！

饭后节目是，品茶。很不错的经验和知识。有铁观音，乌龙，田七和普洱。我喜欢普洱。爹娘被那云南妞所吸引，买了RMB1000/新币200的茶叶。

下一站，一间有名的寺庙。由于是清明，涌到哪的人真不少。

镀金的‘佛’。

一日游的最后一站，两小时的按摩。全身以及脚底，附送拔罐/刮痧/热敷任选一样。这按摩作风很不一样。非常专业和中医似的。我的背现在红一块紫一块，很痛。

又回到中山路步行街。这回我们想尝尝街边的小吃。黑椒糯米玉蜀黍和栗子。

只吃了那两样，我们家老爷就投降了。娇生惯养的他受不了路边摊卖的美食（的确是不怎么干净），所以我们只好找间餐厅。但是这证明了路边摊卖的才是真材实料。这可以算是在厦门最难吃的一餐吧。

在厦门的最后一个早上。班机下午一点，所以还有一些时间。到了附近的麦当劳吃早餐。还是一样的大早餐但却很便宜。

做最后的冲刺！

这结束了我们5天4夜的海，陆，空之旅。搭了飞机，坐了火车，也搭了船。回到了现实，下一站，幸福吗？

这个结局，不能说是万万都想不到的。我们都好几次打了这一个念头，也都能轻易的说放弃，伤害彼此。在这段日子里，快乐很多但泪水也不少。我们都曾努力过，尝试过，但最终还是失败了。当然，这不是一朝一夕能够忘记，放下的。因为毕竟付出了真感情。我承认我从没当过一个好情人，好伴侣，也不是你心目中的完美情人。我知道我有无数个缺点，但我已在努力试着去改。难道我的努力就那么微不足道吗？很想成为你生命中最重要的人，但却一次又一次的只感受到失望和伤害。或许我就像老爸吧，不擅长表达自己，往往让人误会。也不知道为什么在你面前会常自然的玩起口是心非，说出一些根本没那么想的话。好想好想告诉自己这一切不是一场梦但却得面对现实。虽然有好多好多话想说，但现在再说些什么都于事无补了吧。最后只想说几句真心话。我从没骗过或玩弄过你。想让你牵着我的手走上红地毯是真的，想和你一起生活也是真的。但很不幸的，对于这些所产生的恐惧也是真的。我需要的是比正常人多的时间，体谅和包容。惊讶的不是这结束，而是你的反应。我很明白这没人能接受，也不想强迫任何人去接受，所以做了这个决定。说出心里的话，就只想能对得起自己一次。谢谢你曾对我的付出，希望你会过得很好，找到属于你自己的幸福。。。

19 March 2011 - Disney On Ice

This year's featured Cars, Little Mermaid, Lion King and Tinkle Bell. Not as nice as previous years because there wasn't princesses. Lacking the fantasy element I feel. Kinda boring at certain parts esp Cars and Tinkle Bell. Mermaid and Lion King were good with their classis theme songs and the best would be 'Can you feel the love tonight' and 'Circle of Life'. *Melting point* Of course as always, Disney will never fail to amaze and never disappoints.

Finally done with turning 775 photos into 66 collages! So here, our Tokyo trip 17Feb11 - 23Feb11. A good break away from work but more importantly, a much better understanding. Enough said, let the pictures do their job. See how the chin starts disappearing and replaced with double chin and the revolution of an already-not-so-thin gal.

Before boarding.

On our 6.5 hrs flight. I caught megamind while he caught some kungfu show (I think). I had beef pasta while he had chicken with rice and nice soba.

Hello Tokyo! We arrived nearly 12midnight tokyo time and rushed to catch our last train to the hotel. Taking the airport express.

Their very complex subway. So many lines! But we didn't hop on the wrong trains and lose our way. A pretty good transport system which brought us through our stay in tokyo.

Finally reached our hotel. Dormy Inn, our shelter for the next 3 days. Very convenient as it's located near the train station. Except for the flights of stairs which weren't quite friendly with our luggages. It was drizzling and late at night but surprisingly it wasn't very cold.

The small but cosy room. Just great for us.

This was the only supper we could find at such hour to satisfy our growling stomachs. Our very first 'meal' in tokyo!

First day was to the temple, eating non-stop along the way.

First on the list was, some freshly made rice cracker and rice cake which was yummy!

Next up: Fresh 大福 aka mochi.

And then something with sweet potato fillings.
And more freshly made rice cracker dipped in shoyu which was super salty.

Holy water and incense smoke for good luck. The water is icy cold! Also lit a candle.

Off for some shopping next!

A very touching bowl of eel rice. Strongly recommended. This kept both of us quiet for awhile. And as in shows, you go 'wow' with brightly lit eyes. Of course, this is no exaggeration. Double thumbs up! This set cost around S$60.

Eel rice was at 3pm and soon after we went for ramen at 5+pm. This is another touching bowl of ramen.Same effect, we kept quiet and concentrated on our food and can't stop wow-ing. Ippudo ramen. Oishi!!

Headed to Roponggi hills for a stroll and he, in search for the 'red district'. Lol!

Our hotel has an onsen. Of course we had to give it a try. Thankfully mine only had 2 aunties if not quite paiseh to go in naked. Quite an experience.

And no the night didn't end with onsen. We were soon on our way for supper! (yes tell me how i won't become round after tokyo) This man wanted to act hooligan with his kim liang.

We landed ourselves at a 24hrs sushi place. Yummy! Tried sake for the first time. Don't really like it.

The next morning. Ready for another fun filled day!

Another nice ramen place for breakfast. This is more interesting but lost to ippudo's ramen. Made our order through this machine.

It's individual seating! Each has their own cubicle which i thought was quite interesting. Something new.

Those traditional kind of ramen. No fanciful flavours, only one kind but still very good. Only difference is the amount of spring onions he have!! Eeeeewww.

24hrs too!

Just shopping and exploring the streets. He wanna act Japanese with the mask. Haha. Made a token at disney store.

Takopachi is good!

Headed to the observatory. A super long and tedious journey there. METROPOLITAN. *shudders*

Our not very satisfying dinner. Just bought food at takashimaya basement back to eat in our cosy room. It was near closing and everywhere was chaotic. And so we had tempura, sashimi, some frid stuff, 串烧, sushi.

Rise and shine for another day! On our way to the fish market. Got abit hungry and cold so stopped by starbucks to get a baunkuchen (tokyo's kuey lapis) and a cuppa hot mocha.

We didn't get to visit the fish market as it's closed on Sunday. But we made some discoveries near the fish market and settled for breakfast there. First up, some sweet egg which attracts crowds.

And then coming up next was something uber good! Scallop, oyster and hairy crab soup. 超赞！

More food along the way. Eel and something unknown.

We checked out from our 3 days accommodation and headed to another hotel.

Lunch was very nice soba and 串烧 at gomanchi. Really very good.

Our next more luxurious hotel. Grand Pacific le Daiba.

*No pictures here though there were some activities* This is due to the occurence of an episode. An episode of unhappiness, anger and disappointment and at the end of the day of love, realization and appreciation. An episode that i felt resulted in much progression. At least for me. Although there is no need to reach that stage, but i'm glad it happened. And because of this, we had this S$140 room service dinner. I truly appreciate your efforts now and truly know you care alot.

After dinner dessert. Fruits we bought from the supermarket earlier. The ever famous very expensive T melon that we lugged all the way back to singapore which he protected with all his might.

It's disneyland day! Breakfast at macs. Cheese macgriddles for me and sausage macmuffin for him.

We're finally at the long awaited disneyland!! The bus behind me is so cute! Joke of the day gotta be 'minnie duck'! LOL!

Quite disappointed there wasn't alot of characters around to take picture with unlike in HK's. Only managed to get hold of chip and dale and pinocchio's father (like huh?!) I don't even know who he is until Mr Tan told me.

The rides we took. Not alot but not surprising given that waiting time for each ride is 80mins! That is madness. In the cold somemore. Big nono!

Disney food. Mickey shaped waffle, teriyaki chicken which we searched high and low for, churros, soup, pork rice roll and curry flavoured popcorn in mickey container.

Too cold outdoors so we had to hide indoors and started playing with these hairbands!

Lunch was quite a disappointment. Wasted stomach space.

Visited the takoyaki musuem. It's just a place that everyone sells takoyaki and related snacks.

Shabu shabu for dinner. Took the buffet deal and almost died from it. Had 3 big plates of beef and pork. Although it was quite good but kinda overdosed.

Amazing we still had space for dessert! The ice cream were calling out to us. Had to get the royce and chestnut to try. *BURP* That marks our last night in Tokyo.

Flight at 630am. Transport arranged at 4am. We were the only ones heading to the airport so the hotel arranged a nice 'limousine'. Quite cool.

The melon bun and white choc with sesame bagel we bought the day before.

6.5 hrs flight back to sunny singapore. Breakfast and light refreshment which doesn't look too light to me.

This marks the end of our 7 days Tokyo trip. Talking about it now makes me miss it so much. At the end of the day it's still the company that makes everything just perfect. I really thank you for making all these happen. So looking forward to phuket this coming sun!

I'm back! 7 days away to Japan was a great getaway just a tad too short. As always. An update on that after I'm done with collaging the photos. For now, it's Happy Birthday to dearest dajie! A request from the birthday girl to have her birthday celebrated over a simple meal at home this year. And so, we've all decided that all birthdays this year shall be celebrated in this manner. Just simple. (But actually, all meimei's fault la! Bleah!)

Daddy came home one day and told me I'm on the notice board downstairs. So i appeared on the Fengshan newsletter as I've expected. Smiling so happily somemore as if I REALLY love meeting the MP. So wayang leh. Will I get into trouble for criticising the govt on my blog? Goes like this. One day I was alone at home at night watching tv when there was alot of commotion along the corridor. So this lady rang the doorbell and told me the MP is here to visit and asked if i have any concerns. I wasn't at all keen on meeting the MP btw. There was the camerauncle and requested to take a picture. And so of course I took the chance to complain about the few theft encounters and suspicious characters. My particulars were taken down. A couple of days later, someone from the police headquarters called me and told me they have been alerted and will step up on patrol around my estate. Quite efficient eh? Should I vote for PAP then? Let me consider.

Gong Xi Fa Cai!! Thankful I managed to get my CNY First day off if not i'll be so upset without these pictures. So it's CNY again, felt like yesterday when I posted the pictures of last CNY. There, yearly affair, family picture at the same spot, same formation.

CNY eve. Reunion dinner this year was simple affair. Just having steamboat but it was much better than having mum to prepare so many dishes like for previous years.

This little boy amused us with how he was eating the yu sheng while lohei-ing at the same time. Haha adorable.

Our little sis turned 21! Had a great celebration at MBS Suite last Sat. Fell in love with this suite since last Halloween, great place for celebration although abit pricey but guess it's all worth it. Hope we had made her 21st a memorable one and that she love and enjoyed herself! We checked in around 1+pm but was given the wrong room. They gave us the suite with the exercise room instead of the games room we requested for. So all the waiting and lunch took us quite awhile and we only managed to do up the place at around 4. Simple do up, just the custom made banner, all her photos since young that I prepared and balloons. Anyway, credit goes to Mr Tan for hanging up the banner and balloons. =)

Caterer for the event? Of course our dear mummy. She singlehandedly prepared the food for the whole event. The main courses.

Theme is gals in pink and guys in white. Pity daddy wasn't very accomodating if not it would have been picture perfect!

He never fails to impress me with how he debone chicken wings. They can still look so complete and whole and look the same as before but they are actually deboned! I thought that's quite skillful with fork and knife. And of course, chicken wings that he will debone for me are always exceptionally nice! =)

Weekend was off to Batam. All about eating, nuaing, eating and nuaing. Oh we did some shopping and massage got to be the best of all, afterall it's my all time favourite! And there goes my hardwork, i feel really fat now.

Paintball is fun! Although most of the time I don't know what's going on and as if some lost sheep and busy screaming away, I had fun! Painful though. And so I was awarded the 'PAH BUAY SI' award. I think it's more of a sympathy award. Haha. I was made the hostage for the final round. Pretty fun, hiding in the chopper just waiting to be rescued.

Time flies. The little baby who sleeps on the coffee table is now 3 years old and starting school! These 2 days away from work has been the worse yet very much consoling because I had him, my darling Wayne. Sent him to school, watch him enter, put down his stuff, say goodbye and then pick him up from school. Takes abit off the mind doing all that although end of day I'm back to square one. Anyway, Chiltern House is a really nice school.

Wayne all ready for school! Shoes, checked! School bag, checked! Water bottle, checked! File, checked! Boy: Yiyi, water bottle heavy. Yiyi: Okok, yiyi help carry.

And so, the kids have to queue up to take their temperature as well as have their hands and legs checked before entering. See how Wayne listens to instructions, it's really cute! Wayne open your mouth, and he goes, 'Ahhhhhhh'.

I just love how his eyes will sparkle when he sees me, loves how he hugs and kisses me, loves how he holds my hand, loves how he will think of me, loves how he wants me, loves how he will cuddle up next to me, loves the way he leans on me, loves the way he smiles at me, loves how he listens and talks to me, loves how he can always make me smile and feel happier, loves the way he shows he loves me, loves his innocence, loves his simplicity.

The way he holds my hand with both small hands in mine and stays quietly by my side really melts me. Yiyi really loves you Wayne!

This is gonna be a post on memories. Was packing my room this morning and found all these. There are some memories which will be sealed while others like the following will be shared.

The first and only family neoprint. The time when only this kind of boring machines exist unlike the fanciful ones these days. Mei's not even tall enough only her eyes are in the sticker and noone even bothered to carry her. Haha. The one with the datestamp cannot even see her eyes!

My first camera from big sis for my 21st birthday!

Bus cards which i never had the chance to use. The squares are always empty. Mummy fetches us wherever we go. Used to envy friends who takes the schoolbus or uses the concession. How silly.

I really have a very innovative and creative little sis. We used to learn to rollerblade and she issued me this license when I picked up the skill! A pity i forgot which year was that. I would think it's around P3 so she's only around 4! How cute!

MD days! Oh my. This MD stayed with me through JC days. Then, MD was the IN thing. Each disk can only store around 70 songs and comes in various colour. Can do recording somemore! At that time this was a cool gadget to have!

I will never ever forget these boxes of treasures I have. The days when fondest memories were created, when bestest galfrens were made, when there were the gloriest moments of my life. These represents so much so much love and sweetness. V-days were so enjoyable and much looked forward to. These creative sweeties never fails to impress and surprise me with their everchanging ideas and thoughts. Letters stuffed in straws, diskettes, empty pen and even toblerone chocolate box, empty sweet box and more. Letters written on disc, filter paper, transparency. And many many impressive ideas they have that are really shocking! One of which will be Seb's 'Your heart is in my hand'! These are really effort by the gals which touches the heart. Not forgetting loads of letters folded in shapes of heart, square, arrow, triangle, rectangle, all kinds!

Only won these trophies in my entire 15 yrs of school life. Pout. Not the achiever material. Let's see what i have. Primary sch there's telematch (???) don't even know what we did! One for being a prefect for 4 yrs, one for 4x100m (my fav item!). Secondary sch there's Basketball tournament 'B' div East zone 4th (gloriest!), 4x100m (2nd & 3rd, see I told you that's my fav!) and achiever's nite Service award for being class chairperson (I think!). Junior college there's Basketball championship (1st and 2nd, I think it's rubbish one. Haha!) and Sea Carnival Dragon Boat race 4th (first time ever won by Arts class!)

My artpieces!! Done by ME! No help from daddy and mummy this time ok! Remembered staying back late in the art room moulding my clay. Was a piece of very satisfied work. I think I have ABIT of the artistic talents too one la! And the kitchen thing, I had in mind to make that and put in the kitchen to put salt, sugar and pepper! Hey this clay thing is no joke one ok, it's really the real thing! Must put in oven to heat one, inside must stuff newspaper so that it gets burnt in the oven and the figure will be hollow and light! Not easy ok....The glass painting is relatively easier. Just draw and paint only.

And when stickers were IN! This sticker book was my birthday present from mum. Got really disappointed when mum told me she got me a storybook. And i really believed it to be a storybook when i ripped the wrappers. You should have seen that million dollar smile and sparks in the eyes of a 9 yr old when she saw that it was a sticker book that she wanted. I also collect phonecards and stamps (I still have them!) Typical things people collect. The hobbies people write in autograph books!

Really had a good time reminiscing those good old times!

This time is worse! Jam from Marine Parade to Marina South. Took more than an hour to reach office. Purposely wake up early, leave home early so I can skip the ERP but because of this I had to pay $3! This is really a big NO-NO for Jasmine. SIGH!

Went for my yoga class just now and had a scary experience. Halfway through, felt nausea, instructor's voice getting muffled and softer, ears felt block, vision blurred. I thought I was going to black out anytime. A very scary encounter indeed. Thankfully I made it back home safe and sound. Still feeling nausea, hope it gets better tomorrow.

Today, left home 7:10am, massive jam, missed ERP by less than a min, reached office 8am. Petrol last 2 weeks.

Changi Business Park？Start work 3pm, leave home 3pm, reach office 3:10pm, still earlier than some of my colleagues. No jam no ERP. Petrol last almost a month.

Changes. The only thing constant. See my change in this 5 years. Not only on the outside but the inside as well. Personal growth and improvement do not need a judge, we know them deep down. We are only accountable to ourselves but I believe people who truly loves me and appreciates me will know. For this new year, i will only continue to improve bearing in mind not to lose myself in the process. I will not lose myself nor succumb to anything unreasonable. I will change only for people who stays in the heart and accepts me for who I am. I will live for myself as well as all those I love deeply. Probably one thing that will not change, 我是一个吃软不吃硬的人,一直都会是这样的一个人。

Major changes and events in 2010:

1. Visited China, Phuket, Bali, Batam and different places in Malaysia.

2. Changed a new job which i regretted.

3. Changed a relationship

Major events/wish I really look forward to in 2011:

1. Batam in Jan, Tokyo in Feb, Phuket in Mar, Bali in May (do hope there's something with the family in later half of the year or hope there will be HK in Apr)

2. Some decent change at work

3. Advancement and good progress in relationships

4. Basically just more loved ones time

I need to:

1. Be more organized and tidy with my room

2. Watch my diet

3. Watch my appearance ie. go for regular yoga session etc.

4. Spend more time with friends besides just family

5. Pick up new things/skills

6. Keep my attitude and temper in check at all times

7. Maintain positive thoughts and minimise negative thoughts

8. Try to keep spirits high

9. Learn to appreciate/love people and things more

10. Try to be better at the end of each day

I need to make all the above happen. I know I can do it! And my only wish for 2011, good health, safety and happiness for everyone dear to me.

2010 ended just like that. Looking back at the year, there's a couple of lifechanging events. Shall leave that to another separate post. Each year this time, I'll feel a sense of lost and a tinge of sadness as I countdown to a new year. Don't really like this kinda feeling. Anyway, it's a new year and it's important to start the new year right!

This year's countdown was spent in Pulai. Went in first with daddy, mummy and wayne in the morning. Weird combination this time round as bil and both sisters gotta work hence only able to join us at night. First time entering JB sitting infront.

When we reached the resort, inspector wayne cannot help but started exploring around. Touching this and that, climbing high and low. Instructing grandma to take off her shoes in one of the pics.

Snacks (alot!) and wayne's entertainment (Mickey Mouse Clubhouse) to last 3D2N. Finished most snacks, yes imagine that all translated to the inches i've gained. =(

After exploring inside, we went to explore outside. Although Pulai is not somewhere new to all of us, we still went to 'explore'.

(Left pic) Our poor boy's sleep got seriously disrupted and he was dead beat! Slept in my arms in the car and carried him up in the manner but when the moment i put him down on the bed he woke up. Argh!!

(Right pic) He loves to rest his chin on my legs to watch tv. Very adorable.

(Top pic) Our dinner (beehoon, fried rice and sweet & sour fish) that we dabao-ed at some restaurant round the corner. They have no box, just what you see here, wrapped in plastic.

(Bottom pic) Bread to eat for fun (?) at a bakery in a shopping centre that dad brought us to have our lunch.

Minutes before countdown over redwine in plastic cups and small talks and getting ready to countdown. Cheers! Happy New Year!

2nd day buffet breakfast at the cafe. Look at my pathetic breakfast.

Lunch at the cafe. Nice fried rice, chicken rice and mee goreng. Not forgetting mummy's favourite chicken wings! Still yummy!

It's really a challenge to get little kids to take a decent photo, so hard to get Wayne to look up at the camera. (Left pic, attempt 1) Look Wayne! There's a butterfly up there! Dinner at 曾记. Some quite good restaurant nearby that we chanced upon. (Bottom right pic: Wayne, what are you doing?)

Chilli crab, Johor Beehoon, Sweet and Sour pork, watercress soup, old cucumber soup and some signature vegetable with ikan bilis. Yummy!

3rd morning. Went over to aunt's room to explore after our donuts and donashi breakfast. (Top pic) Love Wayne's smile!! Million dollar smile.

Activities we do during our 3D2N. Slack, nua, slack and more nua. For little wayne it's reading books after books and his beloved pool. Of course we didn't only nua. We went swimming but no pics. Not forgetting foot massage me and mum did.

After checking out, lunch was at 天来。Recommended and frequent by golfers. Good food indeed.

That marks our last family trip overseas for 2010, our 2011 countdown getaway. Back to reality and start of the new year. Wishing everyone I love best of health and happiness always for the many years ahead. May we stay blissfully together and I love you all!

Christmas 2010. Love, happiness, bliss, acceptance. We've gone through so much torment to arrive at this day. Daddy is right, it's about love. I couldn't agree more. It IS love.

Eve cannot be better. It was way beyond lovely. About feeling accepted and much loved. Tells me all those tears earlier were all worth it. My presents at 1130. Adidas torch so that i'll always find my way home. Pretty fascinated by it cos it shines 'adidas'. But that was a present that i SHOULD feel disappointed getting. Lol. Then comes the pretty watch i really love. HEARTS. Thanks for the effort, the thoughts. I'm really melted.

This years' presents seems much more than previous years. A supposedly one present each affair, I received 5 and mei got 6! What a pleasant surprise!

One of the few things that warms the heart and brings the smile and laughter! Honestly I've been guilty of not putting in effort towards my girlfriends all these while. But all you darlings time and again stood by me and never once given up on me. All these just touches me greatly and made me believe in having wonderful angels like you girls. Getting into SAC 12 years ago was although initially disappointing and unwilling, but it's also the only place where I found the greatest gals one could ever have. These gals I really wanna keep forever. To all my SAC girlfriends, LOVES deeply.

A lovely breakfast dear mummy made to brighten up my Friday morning. Really lovely but didn't really managed to make me smile from deep down. Tasted very good though.

Friday night was different this time. Daddy brought us to have Bak Kut Teh at Geylang where I met Jen Yang! Was really nice bumping into him although in a weird circumstance. Haha. Then daddy brought us to MBS for a stroll. The breeze was really good. And the night ended with supper at Geylang again! Nice.

From now on this shall only be a blog with happy thoughts and occasions to share with loved ones. I've found another outlet somewhere else. All unhappiness, unwanted thoughts and feelings, goes there, locked and buried.
