They exchanged their MSNs and that very night, they chatted through the wee hours of dawn. Throughout their conversation, the boy realized that they had so much in common than twins in the world.
Starting with their age, both were of the same age, only 1 month apart. (The girl keeps on calling the boy and old man, and the girl kept getting nagged at like a small girl)
The boy’s older sister got married recently, while her’s was getting married in 2 months time.
Both their sisters were getting married at 25, and both have younger siblings who were 17 and 18.
She didn’t like the way her teeth was and suffered extreme pain to put braces on for one and a half years. He didn’t like his acne-covered face which looked terrible and sought medical help which took one and a half years for his face to heal.
She indulges into songs with meaningful and beautiful lyrics that will touch her heart and fill her soul. He loves the raw tune of music, which tames the heart and escalates the soul.
She received her driver’s license on the 11th of September, while he got his on the 12th. Eventually she became the driver who got overtook by lorries, while he became the crazy P-plate driver that almost got into an accident. (He believes the real reason for the Sept 11 incident was her crashing into the building on the first day as a P-plate. NOT the planes.)
She plays basketball for her college school team. He plays basketball at his neighbourhood’s community center.
She got hurt emotionally in a relationship with a guy during his college days and daren’t step into another relationship for the coming years, leaving her mother worried about her sexuality. He got hurt badly in a relationship with a girl during his college days and daren’t put on his specs to look for another girl, leaving his mother wondering if he was gay.
Because of their sad relationships, she didn’t get good grades for her college examinations, he didn’t do well either.
She was once mistaken by a security guard to be a mother fetching her son from school, when she was actually fetching her sister from school. He was mistaken by a NUS Subway staff for being some older guy trying to pretend to be a student to get discounted rates for his meal, when he was really studying in NUS.
She skips lectures. He skips lectures too.
Last minute studying for her. Last minute revision for him.
She created her Friendster profile in Oct 2003. He created his one month later in November.
She dislike smokers. He can’t stand cigarette smoke.
And the list will probably go on..
