And so after checking out at 1030 this morning, we headed home, showered and left for Lionel's housewarming at Sengkang. Quite a nice place, cosy for 2. Never take alot of pics, only the few below.

It's been quite a yearly affair for mum to book a unit at Sentosa's Costa Sands. This year as well. But this year's very different. Previous years we had not enough space to sleep with 7 of us cramped into a small room, cold and insufficient blankets and pillows. This year, there's only 3 of us in the same small room with enough blankets and pillows, still cold though. It's really the first time our event has got such poor turnout cos little sis had exams, dad prefers to stay home cos he's tired, bro-in-law and sis has got their own stuff as well. So just left with mum, me and dear plus special guests, my auntie and uncle. Something really different this year.
We took our time this year and checked in only around 7 plus. Dabao-ed from 85 market food enough for 5 people cos initially aunt said she's joining us. So it's 3 people finishing food meant for 5. Imagine that. We did it and finished a packet of nasi lemak, a packet of hokkien prawn mee, a nonya zhang, 4 chwee kuehs, 5 chicken wings, 20 satays, 5 otahs, a stingray and ah balling. Yes we finished EVERYTHING. Evidence above.


So there's the 5 of us strolling along Sentosa exploring the nightspots and sitting at coffee bean just chatting the night away. The breeze is really good.

Finally met up with some of my primary school peeps. Attended Weiwen's wedding. The first among all of us to settle down. How time really flies and everyone's grown up and indeed matured. Feels really good catching up after such a long while. 13 years of friendship and counting..

Today marks the end of my 3D2N stay at 46A Lengkong Dua, dear's place. Felt like my parents left me in a childcare. Was a nobody's child from Sun till today cos whole family went on a cruise. YES WITHOUT ME! Only left with little sis but she went back to hall. So after sending them to harbourfront on Sun, i took little sis to dear's place for her to study. After which dear's mum told us to stay for dinner. So it was the first time mei actually sat down for a meal with them under such circumstance. Something new and totally unexpected although we knew them for a long time. But I felt so 寄人篱下. Thankfully it was a nice experience afterall. And so after work was going to dear's place. Pretty exciting cos different place doing different things. The first night dear waited up for me cos i did not have his auto gate's remote control and keys. Second night i had the remote and it feels quite stressful cos afraid of forgetting to close the gate or lock the door. And it does feel like 做贼 cos afterall it's a different place. Feels like i'm breaking into their house in the middle of the night. And this is what I saw after i reached his place last night.

Yeah I've got nothing better to do at work hence this snapshot. My carplate number's finally here! This premium instrument series started from 4000 meaning we've already processed 480 trades to reach my carplate number! And because the very same day the PIs reached 4480, my teammates also sat in my car, therefore they went to buy 4D but of course, got so easy meh?

Today's finally full strength again but I seriously don't like it at all. And some people just never fails to get on my nerves and pissed me off like almost totally. Just so hate it. Simple instructions cannot follow and yet like to talk big. Totally Disgusting.

Our dear little Wayne is turning one in another 10 days. How time flies! Had an early celebration today at A Pinch of Salt since he's going on cruise on the actual day. Lucky boy. Anyway, really really nice place. Love it! The theme is Mickey and guests were expected to come in mickey-related attire. And so, the Lius being ever so spontaneous, decided to all come in the same mickey attire. And me, being always full of ideas (some nonsense ones though) thought of personalising our shirts! Went to get plain polo-tees and dear got crayons for us. Of course with the help of our ever so creative and artistic little sis, we had the best shirts ever! We really make a great team! Presenting to you... Sis's hardwork! Tadah!

And sis requested that she wants to bring home ALL the remaining balloons after giving away most of them. Stuffed them all into the car. Really afraid of the feeling of releasing balloons into the air. Is there a phobia of this sort? One flew away just now and the feeling is just so......sad.

I get questions from colleagues like.. 'eh, you everday go home for dinner eat what ah?' My typical answer nowadays,'erm.. cai peng lor, at home not eat cai peng one meh?' So I've decided, i shall present...............MY DINNER! An example of my dinner daily.

My entries are so outdated lately. Unlike when I was on compliance. Wanted to update each time but I was just too tired after each day. Nothing much on a daily basis esp on weekdays. How interesting can work be right? I had the most unexpected and different weekend. Saturday was Halloween and I actually celebrated my first Halloween. Yes being the scardy cat me, who would have guessed I'll celebrate Halloween. And so, off I went to the return of halloween horrors at Night Safari. The next thing is, with the most unexpected group of people. A very weird combination indeed. It was an impromptu decision. Initial plan was for qing, seb, xf and me. But qing went back to Hungary, xf had something on, so it's just left with me and seb. And then, came ash, I asked my little sis and she's interested, so is seb's little sis, xuewen and her friends who all happened to be my bball junior back in sac except for one. So it was all 7 of us squeezed in that little reddy of mine. I contemplated for a long while because afterall I cannot really take such horror. Guess people who knows me will know that. But somehow when little sis said she's keen on going, I felt better. It's also the first time my sis joined my friends. I thought the journey there was already horrible enough. Late at night with super heavy downpour on the expressway. So exciting. It was soooo crowded. Had to queue for a good 2 hrs to enter.

A few wandering ghosts around scaring people. But the amazing thing is, they weren't from the safari! They were like us, visitors. Such enthusiasm and effort in dressing up. And I thought they were already scary enough to make me change my mind about entering.
I have a crazy friend. Seb is totally crazy! Requesting the zombie to bite her, the well ghost to strangle her with the rope, the butcher to cut her throat, volunteered to help the ghost comb the hair of the head she's carrying etc etc. Go disturb the ghost throw rubbish at him and ask the vampire to let her have his coffin somemore. I wonder where she get all her 胆from. Just give me half also good.

We went on the horror tram. I pleaded with them to let me sit in the middle. Not really pleading actually cos sis and ash were so brave! They were ok sitting at the sides. I really din know my sis is that brave. The tram ride was about 50 mins. Initial part was animals, introducing them to us. Then comes the real 'fun'. Actually half the time I never really see clearly cos whenever i hear people screaming i'll cover my face and scream together. The ghost will really come up to the tram one leh! Luckily he missed our cabin. Phew!
And as though the tram wasn't enough, they wanna go on foot trail!!! Embarked on the bridge of no return. Nearly heart attack inside really no return lor! All foresty, dark, with some eerie lights. You just won't know when some idiots will jump out from the bushes to scare the shit outta you la. To make things worse, 人吓人really will 吓死人lor! Some 路人 went to tap me from behind and really scared the shit outta me la! TWICE SOMEMORE!! And she was laughing so happily when she heard me screaming and 花容失色la! So evil la!

Went Barclays Open on Sunday with mum, dad and dear's dad. It's an annual affair for the folks since dajie works in barclays so she could get the tix but it's my first time. First time to the tournament, first time down the green. And with that, I further confirmed my dislike for golf. It was so hot and humid and just watching people whom i dunno play. For me, facial/spa/branded bags vs car, I choose the car. And golf vs shopping, I choose shopping. Does that make me half woman half man? Feels like it. My personalities and character too. Maybe also cos I wasn't feeling quite well that made the experience a not so pleasant one.

Took the shuttle bus in from harbourfront. First time my mama camwhored with me.

Yeah whilst people were all engrossed in the golfers, I was busy taking pictures with mama. And guess what we did? We just took out the foldable stools that mama prepared, sat down under the shade and starting our mini picnic! Sounds so bimbotic right? Fanning away and eating chips, totally uninterested in what's going on except that we saw a ball flying towards the spectators. Call themselves professional got world ranking golfers. Tsktsktsk! I concluded, this shall be my first and last time going for barclays open. I'm just not worth the $50 tix la.
So looking forward to wayne wayne's party this sun!!!
